Life is full of so many unexpected things. I think life is comprised mostly of the type of things you can't expect.. how often do things actually go according to plan, anyway? One door shuts and another opens, as they say, even though sometimes it takes a while before you're able to find that open door. But it's hard to keep perspective when all you see is a door slammed in your face. Sometimes it feels easier to simply stop moving forward. At least there's no more disappointment that way.. but the wonder of finding a new path is surely worth it. We can't control what life gives us, but there's so much to learn, so much to gain.. you just have to keep after it.
